Booking online reserves a space in class until 5 minutes before class begins. At that point, reservations are released and you are still welcome to practice if there is space available. Running late or can’t fit into class? Cancel your reservation through the glofox app or our website for the class credit to be returned to your account to be used within 90 days.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes before class begins to give yourself time to check in, set up and relax.

*due to demand, Soul Sunday is strictly first come, first served. Online reservations are not taken for this class.

Urban Meditation

Days & Times

Monday | 8:00-8:30am
Wednesday | 5:30-6:15pm

This group will explore, sample, discuss and share an array of methods, modalities, philosophies and practices of meditation. We will address the challenges that spiritual city-dwellers often find when one meditates in an urban environment. This group’s intention will be to both enhance the way we practice meditation and to deepen our understanding of what meditation is and can be. These classes are suggested donation $5 10 (cash only) - teacher takes all.

Senior (65+) | $10

Class cards and monthly memberships cannot be transferred or shared. Yoga class cards expire after 6 months. Recurring monthly memberships require a three month minimum commitment and 30 days notice to suspend or cancel. If you cancel a class before attending the class credit will remain on your account for 60 days. If you do not show up for a yoga class you must go in and manually cancel in order for the credit to be retained on your account for 60 days. Otherwise it will be taken off your student account.

About Urban Unwind– Restorative Open Level

A class designed to ease you into a surrender of long delicious, at times supported, postures that help relieve the effects of chronic stress. The use of props provides a completely supportive environment for total relaxation. The practice facilitates deep release in connective tissue and calms the nervous system.

 

About Urban Basics— Vinyasa Open Level

A flow that links body movements with breath. This class is appropriate for students of all levels who have some experience with yoga or great beginners. The instructor will offer modifications for beginners as well as more challenging poses for advanced students.

 

About Urban Power— Vinyasa Level I

A flow that links body movements with breath. Similar to Urban Basics, but with a bit of a kick to it! This class starts with 40 minutes of deep stretching followed by 40 minutes of Power, closing with 10 minutes of cool down and meditation. Urban Power Level 1 is appropriate for students of all levels who have some experience with yoga. The teacher will offer modifications for beginners as well as more challenging poses for advanced students.

 

About Urban Power— Hatha Level II

Hatha/Vinaysa Level II spends less time on the warm up and more time getting deep into Power. Expect to sweat! This class is appropriate for students of all levels who have some experience with yoga. The instructor will offer modifications for beginners as well as more challenging poses for advanced students.

 

About Urban Power— Vinyasa/Hatha Level II

Hatha/Vinaysa Level II spends less time on the warm up and more time getting deep into Power. Expect to sweat! This class is appropriate for students of all levels who have some experience with yoga. The instructor will offer modifications for beginners as well as more challenging poses for advanced students.

 

About Urban Community— Vinyasa Open Level

Vinyasa Stretch your muscles, build strength, find your balance, open your hips, get upside down and enjoy some stillness. We promise you will leave feeling energized, refreshed, and accomplished… and it only took an hour! Community classes are sliding scale $10-17 cash or $17 flat to pay by credit card. Students can also use class cards & memberships to attend.

 

About Soul Sunday— Restorative Open Level

Do you have Soul? This class offers everything that Urban Unwind gives you with the bonus of soul music to move you through the end or the beginning of your week with a soulful ease.

This class is first come first served, no online reservations accepted.

 

About Urban Beats— Vinyasa/Hatha Level II

Hatha/Vinyasa with a live DJ. This is an Urban Power Level II class with the added bonus of live beats by DJ Emjay. Jump start your weekend with a high energy flow that covers hip hop and house music from old-school to current.

 

About Urban Meditation— Open Level

About Urban Kundalini— Open Level

Alison’s classes are 90 minutes, following the teachings of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation as taught by Yogi Bhajan. They incorporate a range of exercises from lively warm-ups and deep stretching to heart-centered meditations, breath work, and chanting. Her teaching is grounded in the notion that yoga’s purpose is to enable us to more deeply connect to ourselves and each other in our wholeness. A playful combination of warmth and soul in a supportive environment, that both challenges and inspires.

 

About Urban Pilates— Open Level

Get ready to focus on your core, lengthen and strengthen in this one hour mat pilates class, led by professional dancer and instructor Michelle. Increase strength and flexibility that can help combat back pain. A great workout to counter the effects of sitting at a desk all day. Beginners are welcome.
